Just wanted to let you guys know that it worked out OK. Now I can get back to work

my adium 1.3.2 still don't work.(now am using transport).
I think adium don't work becouse i have static ip. if i turn it off adium start to work, but i need static ip for my web site.

Wow!!! I find way to use Adium anyway!!!

Download Toonel.net (or from here) - run it - go2 Mapping - choose 127.0.0.1 - Apply
Do not Quit!!! Just hide app ))))
In Adium User Account settings do not change login.oscar.aol.com!!!!
Go2 Proxy, choose HTTP and fill from here - IP - 127.0.0.1 - Port - 8080

That's ALL!!!!
Now I waiting new Adium update ))))

Robby, it is the patch available for libpurple at http://developer.pidgin.im/ticket/8198, could you please apply it and release updated version of AdiumX as soon as possible? ICQ is still rejecting Adium from connecting.

Direct patch URL - http://developer.pidgin.im/attachment/t ... ssia.patch, people report that this shall work (same code already applied to QIP and Miranda and they work for now)

1. I'm not a developer myself.
2. (As I said previously:) The patches submitted have to be reviewed and checked in by the Pidgin, not by the Adium developers.
3. (As I said previously:) Once this has happened, the changes will be merged to Adium. This would probably entail a new release of Adium.

Tried to find this code in AdiumX source, but failed.
Does anybody knows where it is?

Hmm, I'm at home now and it works just fine. But I don't have static IP at home... In fact, I'm just using someone else's wifi But anyway, it just works without jabber

And... if it doesn't start working, the jabber workaround should work (works in my office):

Today this crap happened again — Adium gets messages by ICQ network from user 1 only. Guys, please, deal with this problem at last! I don't get it — is that so hard? Two or three beta versions had been released and there was no issue concerning the problem. The patched Adium version made by Newton also doesn't work anymore — we must use additional tools again (some sort of crap like Toolnet or TOR or some proxy) risking to lose our registration info at any moment. What should we do? How much time do you need to fix this problem and revive our ICQ connections without any extra stuff? Thanks a lot in advance!
