Adium connects to msn, but other msn users see me "offline"

Hello from Portugal

I bought a Mac for my Wife and I install every messaging application I get for Mac msn, adium, amsn, ...but Adium was the greatest!

But I have an issue, my wife are connected with an hotmail and a gmail account and I on my Pc at work with windows live 2009 messenger can't see her online, tell's me that she's offline and I'm typing with her.
This have some cure??

We're happy you like Adium.

You could try the 1.3.3b3 Adium Beta. It features some fixes for problems introduced by WLM 2009.

Thanks, right now I'm still working but when i get home I'll update and will see if works.

I install the beta versium and today at my office I try it but nothing change.

My wife still apear in my Windows 2009 messenger OFFLINE!!!

You probably still working on that.

Try another client and see if you can see her. Who knows, it might be a problem in wlm 2009.

I use Adium v1.3.2 and sign onto MSN, AIM and Yahoo. Occasionally friends on MSN tell me that I "appear offline". If I sign off and on, sometimes it fixes the issue, but not always.

I don't know what version of the Windows messenger they use.

cruciarius, you should check 1.3.3rc1 which will be out very soon at Adium Beta. 1.3.3 will feature fixes for a lot of MSN-related problems.

Last night, I install the 1.3.3rc1 version and no changes.

And one more thing that I only note 5 minutes ago.

I (new msn 2009) can't start comunicate with my wife (Adium). But she can starts the comunication.
