I've recently started getting the following error when logging in to MSN:
Unable to add user
Unknown error (241)
I upgraded from b2 to RC1 but it still occurs. I don't get any error when I log in to MSN via MSN Messenger.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
thanks,
paul

Re: Error 241 at startup using RC1 (and b2)
I just looked through every Adium menu, and I don't see a Debug menu. Where is it?

Re: Error 241 at startup using RC1 (and b2)
Could it be that the RC candidate removed the Debug menu?
At any rate, my laptop still had the beta so I found the Debug menu and I have the log. Unfortunately, I can't decipher where the problem is.
Is there anyone on the Adium team that would be willing to take a look at it?

Search for ADL error in the log. The mail address of the contact should be just before it.surfmonkey89 wrote:Could it be that the RC candidate removed the Debug menu?

I just downloaded 1.3.3rc1 to check whether the debug window was there and it is.

I have some updated information on the cause of this error. If you experience this error the search your debug log for "list_op: 7". If you find a contact with it then remove it from your allow or block list using Adium Menu->Privacy Settings...
