Dock text size limit?

Hello,
Is there by any chance some sort of a text limit on the amount of chars that can be displayed above Adium's icon in the Dock?
I am asking because I am experiencing such a limit... See image:
In the above image you see a partial nickname. It is supposed to read "plaschkes", but you only get to see "plashck".
Is there some sort of a limit, 7 chars limit, or icon-width limit?
It would be nice if the whole nickname could be displayed...
