Moving Menu Bar Icon

Post by CoreyGrandy »

I'm trying to keep all my chat apps (well, Adium & iChat) in the same place on my menu bar, but Coversutra won't allow me to do so. It seems that both the menu icon for Adium as well as the one for Coversutra are immovable (in the way one would hold ⌘ & drag with the mouse to move around many other menu bar icons - Volume, Displays, Airport, etc.). Just wondering if anyone knows how to move either of the aforementioned icons. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

My current menu bar - I'm looking for the leftmost icon (Adium) to be moved to the right of the music note (Coversutra)

Thank you,
Corey.

Only official Apple applications (or applications which use a hack to pretend to be) are moveable in the menu bar. Sorry.

New opened programs appear most left in the menubar.
My suggestion: close Coversutra and re-open it, then the Coversutra-icon will have switched places with the Adium-icon, I think... :)
With every startup of the computer, you will have to open Adium first and then Coversutra.
