I noticed that Google Talk does not go invisible when the option is choosen in Adium, I did some digging and found an Adium ticket that basically said that it was waiting on libpurple to support that. After some further digging I found out that the libpurple people have basically said that they will not put in support for the option (although it is possible by entering some stuff into the xml console).

So does this mean that Adium will not support the invisible feature for Google Talk?

I found a plug-in that seems to add support for invisible on Google Talk in Pidgin/Finch, but it didn't seem like there was any support for Adium...

Yes, that appears to be the case. Patches are welcome though.

I'm the Fahhem from the GtalkInvisible plugin. I found this topic and I'm pretty sure Adium X should be supported. I made it a plugin for libpurple, which Adium X uses too. If you can test it for me, that would be great since I don't have anything Apple.
