I don't know how to do two things. I'm using Adium with a sametime account.

One thing I don't know how to do is how to initiate a group chat.

The other is I do not seem to receive "messages". Apparently someone can send a message to a group of users but not really start a chat session.

Is either one of those do-able with Adium?

Meanwhile is one of those "man, is that old…" type of plugins in Adium. You can see the documentation at http://meanwhile.sourceforge.net/docs/ and more importantly the FAQ at http://meanwhile.sourceforge.net/faq/, but I'm not able to really help you with any specific questions (since I don't know ). You might want to search our trac at http://trac.adiumx.com, since someone else might have asked before also on there.
