Where can I find it? I want to change the little black ninja star when Adium is trying to connect. It all started from this ticket I made: http://trac.adiumx.com/ticket/11889.

"IMO the little black ninja star doesn't look very nice. It takes a lot of space from the icon and looks very chunky. It should be change to an animated ellipsis or a spinning refresh icon."

You guys have any ideas in which I should change it to? I mean I love the default Adium icon except that thing is just hideous.

I just have to make a duplicate of the original one right? Then I change the connect icon and save it as a different icon to something like "CustomAdiumIcon".

Well it wasn't in the "Library>Application Support>Adium 2.0>Dock Icons". So I went looking in Adium.app package, I found some of the icons but they weren't altogether. I also found the connect icons so I replace them with my own and I tried to connect and I didn't see the icons I replaced it with. I changed the image and I replaced it with the same name, "connect1.png" etc.

Adium.app/Content/Resources/Shared Dock Icon Images

"Connect1.png" - "Connect4.png" is what you're looking for.

I recommend that you duplicate the dock icon pack you want to edit, and modify the Icon.plist to reference *local* overlays, put them in the dock icons' bundle, and place it in the ~/Library/Application\ Support/Adium\ 2.0/Users/Default/Dock\ Icons folder.
