Display glitch when creating links in long messages

When creating a link in a message where the text is too long to fit in the text box, Adium glitches graphically.

I'm using Adium 0.77 on 10.3.8; sorry, I should have mentioned that in the first post.

I hadn't noticed it before, but scrolling a block of text when it's too long to fit in the text box also causes the same graphical glitch.
