I have been a LONG time Trillian user. Besides the almost impossible task of migrating my 5 years of logs, I'd like to somehow retain all my "friendly" names for my contacts in Trillian.

Is there any way to install Adium, login to the IM services and let them pull down the contact list and somehow "merging" or renaming them using the old trillian buddy file ? If there is no tool to do this, a hint on the location of the Adium files I would need to manually modify would be helpful.

Most services allow you to store the friendly names on the server so unless trillian doesn't support this then there should be no problem.

Does anyone know where this data is stored in Adium ?

Is there any "documented' way to migrate friendly names for contacts from Trillian to Adium...I really got to move...any suggestions would be appreciated.
