Hey guys. I have (finally!) found and installed SetAlphaValue. I am using Adium nightlies. However, my Adium Contacts window is just not being affected by SAV. IM's are transparent, tooltips are transparent, etc. but the contacts window itself just stays opaque no matter what. Now, I know that Adium and SetAlphaValue have not played nicely together in the past - but I couldn't find out the end of that story, if you will. My question I guess, is did the developers of Adium purposely make the Contacts window immune because of this problem? I am trying to figure out why it's not working - and if you guys did it on purpose, then I can stop looking for answers. If not, it's back to Google for me...

It's probably trying to set the alpha before adium does it itself. You can set the alpha of the Contact List in Adium's prefs.

Ah, I did not know that. I do not like the way Adium does it though (only dimming the background, not the text or title bar). I imagine there's no way to fix this though. AND, this does not appear to be the same as setting the alpha value, so in theory SetAlphaValue should still work, right? Anyone else have thoughts?
