Unable to connect on any of my macs

I have a desktop mac running 10.5.4, and i have a laptop running 10.5.6, both of these are unable to connect to adium, or any other msn client.

At first i thought it was only my desktop, as i think i may have cancled a adium update halfway through downloading, so i was trying to fix it that way, but then no other msn clients would work either.

I then tried msn on my brothers vista machine, and that was working...

So then i moved to my 'macbook', it also wasn't able to connect to adium! (or any other client for that matter). So i'm a bit confused why all of a sudden i can't connect on my laptop aswell! BUT, when i boot into windows it allows me to log in! So it's like somehow my network got effected to disable msn for macs -.- (not sure if that's possible, but it sure is discriminating!)

Here's what i revieced on my tower.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Edit: and it pauses at "authenticating (75%)", and on my 'macbook' at 'syncing server 50%', it varies.

It happen the same her on mi iMac :mad:
but if I try to connect me directly from the msn web, it works! but I want to connect me from adium :cry:

I would just wait it out. Probably faulty MSN servers, since it works fine for me.

well yeah, I guess is sometihing with the MSN servers, cuase last night it work, but today itsn't working again!

Well... I'm getting sick of just waiting it out...

This has been happening on my machines for the past 6 or more months... Chatted with some of the dev team on IRC, it's suspected to be a problem with libpurple... I think Pidgin can log in just fine. I had an adium build with a newer libpurple that appeared to work, but eventually had the same problem. Now it fails to connect *most* of the time and is becoming less of a viable option for me.

Sometimes I wonder if there's anything in my setup that conflicts with Adium's ability to connect to MSN. Everything's so intermittent/difficult to track, it's hard to tell. (like if I make a new user account on my machine and connect.... maybe it's the account, maybe it's MSN, maybe it's Adium, maybe it's just luck, etc..)

Either way, it's definitely frustrating. I would much rather use Adium than the sucky official MSN client... yech.

Better try aMSN first then.
Adium is the best, aMSN comes next and then that sucky official MSN client. :)
