Hello Forum,

I'm having a bit of a problem with New Email notifications with my gtalk account. I can't seem to figure out how to turn them off!

In "Preferences > Accounts > gmail@account > Options > Display New Email Notifications" is not checkmarked - yet I'm still seeing new email alerts.

Is there any way to turn it off for good?

Preferences-> Events-> disable "New email notification" will do the job for all your emails.

Yup, already have that one setup - no dice, I'm still getting the pop-up.

This issue has been already reported in our bugtracking system and will probably be fixed for 1.3.6/1.4b8.

Thanks, I updated to the beta and it works as expected.
