Scripts Recursivity

Post by Félix »

I'm pretty sure I'm not posting this to the right place, but I have no idea where I should place it.

I saw that if there is an Adium command (Using AppleScript) in the return of a "substitute" function (Also in AppleScript), it will be parsed too. Is there a way to stop this from happening?
(For instance, if I put 'return "/music"' in a "substitute()" function, "/music" will be parsed too, and I don't want this to happen. I tried to use the x00 (NULL) character so it is not the function name anymore (/mu\x00sic, \x00 transformed in the NULL Unicode character) and would be fully transparent, but it looks like AppleScript doesn't like it much...)

You don't understand me? well... um...
