Adium randomly displays large name in dock icon

Hey guys,
I don't know if it's a bug, I couldn't find anything in the ticket database. So maybe there's a simple solution.
My girlfriend's Adium randomly displays the name in the dock icon in different sizes. Here are two screenshots. The first one shows the regular size and the second one shows the wrong (large) size.

We changed the contact and message window theme but that doesn't change anything. I couldn't find an option to change the font or font size in the settings.
