Greetings.
I recently had to downgrade from 1.3.5 to 1.3.4 recently because of a couple of issues I've been having with MSN. I did a quick search in Trac but couldn't pin-point if someone has already come across the issue and noted it.
Anyways, from what I experienced, file-sending was downright broken for me, where the second I received a file send, it cancels immediately. I know file-send was iffy to begin with for quite a long while, running at dial-up speeds, but as it stands it was a bit of a nuisance being unable to receive anything at all.
The other issue I had, which I experienced in an older edition of Adium, but seemed to have resurfaced in 1.3.5, was that the client wasn't receiving the proper online status of my contacts. What it basically boiled down to was that people were noted as offline even when they were on, and the same was true for me also, even if I was set as Available.
(took awhile before someone on my list mentioned I was set as Invisible to them, which would explain the lack of conversations I had that particular day)
As it stands, everything's running fine and dandy when I downgraded back, so I'm assuming they're issues with the particular version.
I'm running OSX 10.5.7 on a good ol' MacBook Pro of last year's model.
First-time poster, I do have to say I love the client overall. Been using it for a year, it's slick, it's fast (when it's operating properly), and is capable of taking next to no desktop space when chatting, same goes for the contact list. I can't even stand the official Windows Live Messenger client these days where a single chat window takes up half of my damn screen! (not to mention it still lacks tabs)
