can't launch adium

I am using the latest adium (.77) on my mac running 10.3.8

I've been running this latest version since it came out in Feb. without any problems. Now, suddenly, I cannot launch adium. Adium seems to launch, and my contact window comes up and then it crashes. The crash reporter comes up. I submitted the crash report.

I also tried re-installing adium, and I tried trashing the .plist file.

Any other suggestions? Is this a known issue? Is another release coming out soon?

Which plist? While there are just one or two in ~/Library/Preferences, there are dozens in ~/Library/Application Support/Adium 2.0. You might want to move that folder somewhere else (so that Adium creates a fresh one) to see if there's a corrupted plist in there, if you haven't done so already.
