Unable to Retrieve IRC Window after closing window.

Could we please add a option to retrieve a IRC Window for a server that is already connected? Perhaps Adding a IRC Group in the Contact list that will allow us to reopen the IRC Window? Right now I have to go and disconnect and then reconnect to get the window to open up again even though it still says connected.


P.S. Maybe I missed the bug ticket or forums topic when I did a search for this issue because of the search terms I used, so forgive me if this is a duplicate.

I agree that this would be helpful. I have found the same thing, if you close the IRC windows then there is no way to re-open a session... unless you disconnect and reconnect.

I assume that the IRC account is still running idle on the connected server, but I am not sure of that either.
