Facebook chat Crashes Adium

when ever i have my facebook chat connected to adium the program unexpectedly quits. if i disable facebook it works fine. sometimes i can get facebook to connect but after a while it always quits the adium program. i have tried other versions of adium to see if it was just the beta but they do it too. what can i do to fix this?
