MSN Block Feature

Post by ::Lisa:: »

For some reason, the block feature on Adium for my MSN contacts won't block 1 contact and stay that way. If I block a certain contact it usually stays blocked until I unblock them, which is great.

However, for one certain contact it will not stay blocked and every time I log out (whether closing laptop lid and re-opening) the person is unblocked like I never blocked them in the first place. It's getting very annoying and now I'm having to login as invisible just so I can block them and then put myself on available. Very tedious. >:o

Any help/suggestions would be perfect. I'm using the most up-to-date Adium.

Anyone at all?

I've tried different methods...
* Right clicking > Block
* Adium menu > Privacy settings > Block certain contacts > Adding email
* Adium menu > Privacy settings > Allow certain contacts > Removing said email address from list.

All of these methods work temporarily and stay blocked until I log out, as soon as I log back in the said member is unblocked and can contact me. It is only happening with one member, anyone else I block stays blocked. *shrug*

I've tried renaming my preferences.plist and the adium.2.0, no joy. Not sure what else to do other than to create a whole new MSN alias which I really do not want to do.

Open to any suggestions. Thanks in advance.

The same thing is happening to me. It doesn't unblock all my blocked contacts, just one (but always the same). I'm using Adium 1.3.6.
