Hi, I've been using pidgin/finch for awhile and as such, all my settings, logs etc are in ~/.purple.

Is there a way to get adium to use those settings? A plugin perhaps? I don't wish to migrate, because I like using a console client, but it would be nice to be able to switch between UI clients and console.

it looks like adium decided to prefix user folders with the name of the protocol instead of having a seperate folder for each protocol. Had they done it like libpurple, it would have just been a matter of symlinking. Bummer. Any reason why they did this?

actually, it was not really a problem anyway because there are so few things needing symlinking.
