Hi,

I checked the the wiki http://trac.adium.im/wiki/AppleScript_Support_1.2 and i guess there are some changes since 1.2.

For example is it possible to get the name (listed in the buddy list) of a chat partner? or is it possible to get the whole content of a chat window?

There probably have been some changes since I wrote that. The most up to date documentation is included in Adium. Load up the script editor and then open the Adium dictionary.

Even that document shows that you can get the display name of a contact using the "display name" property of the contact class.

You can not get the contents of a chat yet. Looks like you are already aware of the trac:
