email address disaplyed instead of nickname

Hi,
I'm not sure if this is related to Adium but here is the issue.
My gf & me use both adium. It's been several days that when she is connected I see her as "her_address@blah.com" instead of her nickname. It does not matter if I use Adium or MSN Messenger so I suppose the issue is on her side. When she changes her name to something else, I can see the new name correctly. When she changes back to her usual nick, I see again only her address ..
Kind if strange, isn't it ?
