I searched the forums and couldn't find anything about this.

I recently upgraded to 1.4b16 from the previous beta.

All of a sudden, I'm getting semi-constant 'Facebook Authorization Requests' that I never got before.

They are in a separate window, pop up every 5 minutes or so, are all numeric IDs. If I click on the ID, and do a 'get info', I see it's a various friend on facebook.

It doesn't seem to matter if I authorize the request, ignore the request, or deny the request, they keep coming back.

And I'm really not sure what exactly the authorization is supposed to be for anyway.

I'm at the newest version of the beta. 1.4r17. Unfortunately, it crashes a lot (already submitted), so I am back at 1.4r16 for now.

I am plagued with the Authorization Requests as well. Facebook is unique in comparison to other IMs in the sense that you sometimes have requests you don't want to Ignore or Deny. You just want to let them hang there for a while (I am not alone in this, even the devs do this).

At first I just closed the window. That was great, but the second time around, I thought... "I will deny, because it will just be local to Adium". I was wrong. I lost my friendship requests on Facebook as well. Not really that fun, no.

Anyhoo... So, I have 2 requests still pending and they are recurring. I have no way to disable them. I don't want to ignore or deny them.
