I was so pleased after switching from PC to Macs to find that I can use my Myspace messenger with Adium, so I installed with excitement and looked up my favourite Myspace friends and IM'd them. They were all really confused as to why I was typing a load of CSS code at them. As it turns out, I wasn't, but every post I sent appeared normal to me, but they received them with code in them.

I am about to uninstall Adium as this is just too irritating, however, it occurred to me that this is probably somehow my fault or easily fixed, I did Google it, but found nothing to help me.

I'm on OS X SL on a MBP 13" 2009

Which version of Adium are you using?

I had this issue with Adium 1.3, try using the beta.

I've downloaded the beta and installed that. I'll post back when after I've chatted to someone on Myspace and let you know if it worked. Thanks.

Using the Beta seems to have cured the problem. Thanks.
