Small Requests (I think)

Hey guys,

I'm just looking at my contact list, and seeing my msn name in the "(idle) status" part of the contact list. I know this was because I enabled this in the prefs however, my AIM is my primary one, and I was wondering if we could say:

whatever service is 'ranked' higher in the prefs gets it's awaymessage/status/msn name/whatever dispayed.

I hope that wouldn't be difficult.

Secondly, in 0.8b10, the icons don't update nearly as often as they should. I will for example change my icons in the prefs and then have to restart to get it to change. It seems like something that is being worked on, but what is the status?

any answers or insight is appreciated

I'm pretty sure if you get info, you can reorder them in the drawer and it'll respect that order. And least I think it does....

What does "Idle" actually mean in terms of MSN, because there is no such thing on the official client I didn't think. You are either "Away" (or busy etc,) or Available, so why do I get the little yellow gems occasionally for my msn contacts, while some of them go red? It's annoying as I'm sure they are technincally the same status, so I would rather both gems go red or the yellow ones stay green (if that's what they should really be doing)

Some MSN clients report idle. We're one of them. It's definitely a distinct state in MSN.

Ah ok, thanks for clearing that up. I just made the assumption on the basis of the truely dire msn messenger for mac.
Cheers.

I've tried everything regarding reordering. I know this isn't implemented. I'm saying that as I show up in my contact list... it prioritizes my MSN name over my AIM status message. Being that my AIM is ranked over my MSN in the prefs... that should be... uh, not like that

Does that make sense?
