Growl Installation Recommended

Adium 1.3.10 keeps giving me the message: "Growl Installation Recommended - Adium uses the Growl notification system to provide a configurable interface to display status changes, incoming messages and more. It is strongly recommended that you allow Adium to automatically install Growl; no download is required." on startup, however I have Growl 1.2 installed. I know I can turn off the message, but there must be some background checking that needs to be updated, and I want Adium to use Growl, if it's not detecting it, then it probably isn't.

I'm not sure whether there's something that checks whether Growl is already installed.

Must be something that checks, otherwise the message would have shown up previously. I've been using Adium for a while and I just started seeing the message. I think it may have started after I upgraded Growl, but I'm not sure.
