My chat logs can be kind of important and I want to know how to properly transfer them to another computer so that i can read them still. I do have an external hard drive to help me but I need to know how to properly do it. Do i move the entire adium folder over or what?

Also I am not sure if i will have a mac or a pc so on the chance i get a pc how can I view those xml files without adium or change them into some other kind of file i can read?
