Facebook login glitching

Adium logged me off Facebook, and whenever I enter my e-mail and password, it brings up the same prompt again! I triple checked my spelling and everything. Essentially, Adium won't let me in Facebook. Adium glitch or Facebook glitch?

I've had the same problem for the last 24 hours. It refuses to log in and keeps popping up an authentication prompt. I've been able to log into facebook.com without issue.

I'm guessing by the lack of other posts that this isn't happening to most people, but I haven't been able to find a way around it. I think when it happens, it's usually because of some bizarre change on Facebook's part, since I'm pretty sure the plugin just emulates an HTTP session. Any suggestions?

i just use the facebook chat jabber support, it works great, and it's also official.

Wow, I totally didn't even know that was possible.

I'm getting "503 service unavailable" errors from the Jabber client, which makes me think it's an issue on Facebook's end. Thanks for the help.
