After updating from b17 to b18, the password request dialogue box has gone from this:


to this:


But only for GTalk connections. Is anyone else seeing this? I have tried resetting all Adium preferences to default and the large form window remains. I'm seeing this on both my MacBook Pro early 08 and iMac Late 06. Both are running 10.6.3 with all software up to date.

It is a known bug.

Edit: This bug. Apparently all webkit dialogs look like that.

Edit 2: But of course, that doesn't really explain why it changed appearence.. Hmmm.

Edit 3: I would file a new ticket if I were you, and then refer to the bug I mentioned above.

The issue has been filed here: http://trac.adium.im/ticket/14018.

And should be fixed for the next release.
