Adium cannot connect to Gtalk

Hi all,

I'm currently on version 1.3.10

I've never had any issues with Adium connecting to my Gtalk account, but today for some reason it kept flashing the popup window asking for my Username and Password, and everytime I clicked ok, it would try to connect, but pop up the same window again.

I have no issues connecting to this particular google mail and talk account via Firefox, and iMail, but for some reason Adium and iChat just won't connect to my Gtalk account.

Any ideas?

This might perhaps be a temporary server issues seen as this affects both Adium and iChat. If it doesn't go away in the next couple of days give us a shout.

I'm having the same problem -- Adium keeps asking for my Gtalk password, though I've entered it correctly multiple times. Any thoughts?

Which version of Adium are you using?

Please retrieve a debug log as explained in http://trac.adium.im/wiki/CurrentAdiumDebug.

I'm having the same problem with both Gtalk and IRC. Using Adium 1.4b18 on OS X 10.6.4. Attaching a RTF of my logs. You might have to wade through them as it is a full startup and not a selective service startup (i.e. holding SHIFT when starting Adium). Also having the Gtalk login UI nightmare, very generic.

Not entirely the same issue here.

Adium won't connect to GTalk, plain and simple. In the Preferences, for my GTalk account, Adium says "Initializing stream (25%)"...and after a while, it says "Error: Unable to connect"

Using Adium 1.4b18.

I'd include a debug log, except that it reveals my Gmail address, which I'm not very inclined to let out.
