About ICQ multi-user chat

Hi,

I'm using Adium and I recall that it was possible back then to start up a multi-user chat on the ICQ windows, though I might be mistaken, it seems it's not possible now.
Am I missing the option to start a multi-user chat, or has there never been any option like that.

Hi,
Adium does not support ICQ MUCs. See http://trac.adium.im/ticket/666, especially the last comment.

But I tried adding my icq account as an AIM account, and it didn't work.
Maybe i misunderstood what he meant?

I think I tried that myself ago a while and it worked. What did not work for you: adding your ICQ account as an AIM account or joining the MUC?
