Bug? Or is AOL actually trying to contact me?

I'm having a problem sorting this one out. When Adium is running, I've got 3 random messages from "aolsystemmsg", telling me I'm signed in at different locations. I think this is strange, as I can't see I'm signed in anywhere else than on my only mac right now.
OS X 10.5.8, Adium 1.3.10
Message follows.
"aolsystemmsg
15.14
You (
xxx@xxx.com) are now signed into AOL(R) Instant Messenger (TM) in 2 locations. To sign off the other location(s), reply to this message with the number 1. Click here for more information."
Thankful for any replies on this one!

This happens to me when I have disconnections/connections in quick sucession. See
http://trac.adium.im/ticket/5790. There is an unofficial plugin to disable the messages, I do not know how well it works:

Thanks. Guess it could be that my mac often goes into sleep because of my power saving settings. So Adium reconnects, disconnects and so on.
But I don't have any account on aol or aim... So why I get messages from them is what really wonders me.

Now that's odd. On what kind of an account are you receiving the messages?

It didn't quote any account. So I don't know if this is connected to my facebook chat or hotmail chat. Forgot to send the link with last paste.

I haven' clicked on this link yet, simply because I haven't had the problem again i 2 days. And, maybe the fear of a phishing site is keeping me from clicking on it

Do you keep transcripts? The Transcripts Viewer should show the receiving account for the message.

Hi,
the message was sent to my private mail address, which I use to log in on Facebook. Strange or not? Thanks for your replies, by the way!

Do you have a MobileMe account? .mac/me.com/MobileMe make use of Apple's MobileMe usernames/email addresses on AIM (AOL Instant Messenger).

Yes, but I don't have any AIM/AOL messenger service. However, it could be because I'm logged in on both my computer and phone? With a MobileMe address? Simple as that?

Try to change your password, just in case your account has been compromised.
