Hi all,

I am not very expert in using Adium, but I have noticed a couple of things that don't seem to be in the Help documentation. In particular, the names on my contact list move up and down periodically and the background of the contact's entry in the list changes colour - I've noticed it turn green or grey at various times. This is for contacts who are not currently talking with me. What do these user interface features mean?

Any illumination would be welcome.

Regarding the color changes, please see Preferences --> View (I think, 4th pane from the left) --> Color themes

OK, thanks. It was simpler than I thought!

Thank you for the explanation, I was wrongly assuming that a contact in a green card was online and I've therefore often sent messages to someone who would get them a couple of days later !
