Curious question - application filesize

Hi,

Just a quick question - why is Adium a massive 30MB download?
I have seen much more complex applications (say, browsers), that weigh less than half of Adium's size.

I was wondering what makes Adium this way? and if there is something to do about it?
Clean the code? remove dependencies? something else?

The disk image was 30MB because it included unused libpurple translations. These were removed in time for the 1.4.1 release: http://hg.adium.im/adium-1.4/rev/8b434578ce68. The .dmg is now back down to 22MB.
