MSN not receiving messages

Anyone got a solution for this so far?

It happens to me in MSN all the time and it's really annoying.

I'm super-super annoyed with this issue. It happens from the last three weeks or so. It's just UNBEARABLE, I cannot talk with anybody consistently. I tried to downgrade to 1.4.0, let's see...

Edit: great, it doesn't solve shit. appart from the messages not received/sent, the program disconnects every 'x' time. I cannot talk with my friends!

been using msn messenger 6 and 7 and although it works fine, i hate having 2 applications open because the rest of my network using other clients...

also msn messenger is not opening up my email when i click the email icon in messenger, it opens a text document.

Well, I had this problem right after changing my Live account email (I use one with a custom domain). I could send, but never receive.
My IM is Trillian, but since it happened just after an email change, I was suspecting that it would not be the client app, but the Live service itself.
Anyway, it's finally solved! Thankfully this thread pushed me to investigate other IMs. I've gone straight to the Messenger App for Mac to find something Trillian was not showing me up: all my contacts were blocked.

I've unblocked them, and issue is gone. I don't know exactly if its the same problem for everybody here. But hopefully will help one or two.

I'm having the same problem with Adium 1.5 and Lion 10.7.4. I find in the console.app :

No problem on individual chat but cannot receive MSN Group Chat for 2 weeks.
After disabled the chat encryption, seems ok
