Editing headers

Does anyone know how to add the other persons status into the header? I am modifying the default plastic message style and instead of the conversation time, I want to put the pesons status or alias or username. anything else. Right now, the first line shows the persons name (from my address book) and the second I want their display name/alias (or in msn's case, status). I tried %status% and %sender% but it did not work.
