I have adium for mac and now when I get on the Icon is going crazy. I can not seem to find the reason why please help.

thats strange. I almost was going to say that maybe you had "use custom background" and had it as transparent but thats not the part that would be showing up invisible as you have in the picture have you tried using other themes to see if they do the same?
