Hi,

Cant I send a message to all users of 1 group at once? I tried right click in grupo and I dont see such option, nor by selecting contacts with command key/control.

At adiumxtras.com there is a script (search for "Global") which allows you to send a message to your whole contact list. It's pretty old though and I don't know how well it works.

Thanks a lot. Hmmm, but its not quite what I want. I want to send a message to all of the users of a Group that I created in my roster, in Adium. Not possible? Seems like really important feature, can it be set then as a feature request?

This has been requested at least twice in the past: http://trac.adium.im/ticket/564, http://trac.adium.im/ticket/11049. A response to such a request would probably be pretty much the same today, I'm afraid.

Thanks I dont understand however why theyre so reluctant to add such a nice feature to a nice program They say to use that chat, but its not the same thing, would it be so hard to add that feature....

We don't want to make spamming easy.

I understand... Well if its at any chance possible set a limit, let users create groups of only up to x users
