Event Log..? Like Msn Plus

Doesn't Adium have any feature like the Event Log as included with Msn Plus...?
I've been using Adium for maybe a fortnight for Facebook through Jabber and finding the exclusion of such a feature annoying since I've come to depend on it at times, such as when I hop onto chat & wanna see who has been online for the past 30 mins to determine whether to message or not etc. Prefer msg'ing somebody who has been on chat for a while rather than as soon as they pop online and there's just no way of knowing such stuff without a handy event logger.
Also.. I sometimes see a few friends always appearing as idle whenever they come online, and possibly never as online. I was also able to do such things with Msn, but setting Adium as Away doesn't seem to have any affect on my status when seeing myself from a friend's account. This is also quite annoying as I require the means of distinguishing between available/busy for when I'm free to chat, compared to when I'm chatting to somebody else or busy. I do not wish to simply go offline since I use the "facebook new messages" through adium to rapidly/conveniently message friends while in the middle of something else, rather than bothering with the Facebook website and taking resources leaving it open.
Loved Msn/Skype, but.. with everybody already being on Facebook kinda makes adding to other accounts somewhat off-putting, & people use the other clients less cos of fb as well. Miss those extra features of Msn
Is what I'm asking available, or at least coming to Adium...?
