using skype in Adium without the buggy plugin

Is there a way, with some trasport service? I know for example you can use meebo with Adium, but meebo does not support skype as yet.
But there are many apps, both web and mobile, that supports skype with multi protocol clients, like https://imo.im/ or IM+.
Is there a way to connect Adium to those servers and / or other ones?
I just need plain chat, no voice, no secretary, just skype chatting, I hate skype but many people are only there, unfortunately.
