All accounts missing...

I try to start up my Adium and my accounts do not exist. Nor does the option to add accounts. It says add account but if I mouse over it the list of types of accounts to add is not there. And when I click on the Adium icon I get a black box the comes up along the side where my contacts would be listed if it were working. Everything says I'm updated with the most recent version and updates. So I'm not sure what's wrong.

Are you using 1.4.2 beta? In that case Adium might have accidentally switched your profile. You can change that by holding the Option key at startup.

I did try that anyways and all that was listed was Default.

I have the same problem exactly, anyone solve it? So sad! Have tried many things....

This worked, actually! I started adium while holding down the option key, created a new user, and then I could restore my accounts.

Ditto.

Held Option. Created new Adium Login > Add Account FAIL. I have a weekly rsync of the ~\Lib\AppSupp\Adium\Users\ and have tried my backups from the past month without any luck.

I tried removing everything Adium related within my home directory and then adding the application and am still unable to add new accounts (with a new Adium login or the restored default login)

I am on IRC with ChatZilla talking to the channel and will post what I find.

This happened to me aswell today. Started up Adium as i always do and was welcomed by the setup helper..

Tried to start it up again with option but only Default is listed. All my logs and other data are gone from ~Application Support

Adium 1.4.2 on Lion 10.7
