I can only see online contacts, all the offline ones aren't there at all. It's as if I haven't added them. This first hjappened in v0.77, and now I am trying the beta 0.8 and having the same problem. It started because my 0.77 randomly crashed over and over again, after I downloaded some xtras. So I ditched all xtras, installed 0.8 and am having the same problems.

Any ideas would be much appreciated, thanks.

I know it's sort of obvious, but do you have "show offline contacts" checked in the View menu?

<hangs head in shame> I did not. And now I can see all my buddies.

It's been one of those days, culminating in dropping my powerbook and having to hammer a dent out of it this afternoon. My brain is evidently fried from the almighty stress.

Bugger. I have a lovely bulge right on the front edge of mine from a similar incident. I feel your pain!
