I use Adium 1.3.10. I spend a lot of time in AIM group chats. Occasionally (meaning almost daily), Adium will disconnect me from the chat without telling me about it. The screen name is still online, But no messages are being received on my end and others say that I've signed off.

Related to that, if I leave the chat and try to reenter on that screen name, it won't connect me. I have to join it using a different screen name. Until that one disconnects without telling me, too. I basically have to play screen name musical chairs. What's going on? How can I fix this?

I did update, and now I have a few questions that I figure I might as well ask while I have this help post.

I have it set to show aliases in chat instead of screennames, but it only shows screennames. I don't know how to fix this.

And there are little head icons next to the screennames in chat. What are they for (and is there a way to make them go away?)
