I just downloaded Adium 1.4.2, in changelog i read
Added support for MSNP16 including multiple points of presence (MPOP) which allows multiple simultaneous sign-ins and which should resolve connection problems involving the "Signed in from another location" error. (#13654)
But really when i connect with adium my msn client in win xp logout, and if i log with windows msn in xp, adium get disconnected, so MPOP doesn't work?

From what I've heard, it works for most people in 1.4.2.

I think your windows client for MSN you use also needs to support MPOP, perhaps it does not?

This is not working for me either. I am using Adium on a Macbook Pro and a MiniMac. When I login to MSN/Live Messenger on one machine it throws up the error message on the other machine and logs me out of MSN/Live Messenger on the other machine. Both machines are running Adium 1.4.2.

Hi,
Tried adding a gmail contact to MSN today and get the "Signed in from another location" error and now I can't connect at all. Am on 1.4.2 on OS X 10.6.8...
Edit: So I tried deleting the account and re-adding it. Didn't work. I then restarted my system and logged out of everything else. What happens now is that MSN tries to connect and cannot. It gets up to Sending Cookie 100% then says: "Error: Your MSN buddy list is temporarily unavailable. Please wait and try again", in 4 seconds. It keeps trying but doesn't work. Downloaded the beta (1.4.3rc1) and get same error. Anyway, I can't connect and can't remove that contact from the list, so everything is stuck.
Edit2: Also no idea why the code is showing up in my post. Sorry!
