Trusting Wildcard Certs

Hi all,
Has anyone else had any experience with getting Adium to trust wildcard certificates? Everytime I connect to my company's Jabber server I get a message saying that I need to accept the certificate. I use the "Show Details" button to show more about the certificate and under there is a checkbox reading "always trust *.openobjects.com", which I check and hit accept. This never seems to take affect though and I'm left having to do this every time I start up my Mac. Can anyone confirm they are working with wildcard certificates fine or is this a bug I should raise?
Interestingly I believe I also had the same kind of issue in a version of Psi (a Windows Jabber client) but that was fixed in a recent upgrade. A common Jabber issue perhaps?
