XML not wellformed (jabber, facebook, xmpp)

Since yesterday I get the "XML not well formed" error, when I try to login to facebook via jabber/xmpp. I tried adium versions 1.4.2 and 1.4.3b1, the latter with the new facebook native option. As I read in the forum, this error is around for some time. Is there any idea about the reason or even a fix?

I also have a log, but since there are all my facebook friends in there with their real names and account info, I don't want to upload it here.

Just edit the log to remove their names.

In the log, I found a lot of wrongly interpreted Umlaut and foreign characters like hebrew, which are part of names. As an example: When there should be a german "ü" there is "√º" in the log. Maybe this could be part of the problem?

After some experimenting, I found out that if I don't set a photo in the personal preferences, it connects. Whatever the problem with the picture is now, I am pretty shure that I used a photo for the facebook-jabber account before and it worked.

Seems that the size of your avatar is the problem! Try making it smaller.

Thank you, that did it. After trial and error it seems that it should be not more than 96x96 pixels. No matter if jpg or png.
