Chat room text limit

I dunno if this just applies to me, but when I try to send a certain amount of text while in a chat room on adium a lot of the time it says..."Could not send the last message because it was too large." When I try to send the same message in the official AIM client or in iChat, it let's me send it no problem....this happen to anyone else?
