Just wanted to report this bug(?). I wanted to use adium as my Facebook messenger, because MSN is no longer used in my friends group. So I configured my account, It didn't worked. I discovered that if you have https (secure navigation) activated in your options on Facebook.com, then you can't use your fb account in Adium.

I hope you guys can fix it, don't know if you need more 'data' from me.

I have seen this reported before in other threads, yes.

You should give the beta (1.4.3b2) a shot. Please let us know if it works.

I was about to do that, but after reading this: http://forums.cocoaforge.com/viewtopic.php?f=10&t=23539 I will have to wait.

I was getting this problem.
Just updated to Lion and running Adium 1.43rc1
Couldn't login using the Jabber thingy - kept getting 'Resource Error'; or something like that.
Turned off https access in FB, and now Adium is working fine.

It would be nice to be able to turn Secure back on in FB - is this possible now, or is it something we will have to wait for?
