I am running OSX 10.6.7. I used Migration Assistant from an older Intel iMac to the current machine (21.5" iMac, Intel i5.)
After the upgrade, Adium would not allow me to see or add contacts. Specifically, under the Adium menu, Add Account> doesn't come up with any options. If I go in the Preferences-Account Pane, there is nothing listed under the Plus Sign (to add an account.)
I've completely removed Adium and reinstalled (including removing all Preferences, Cache Files, Passwords, etc.) but the problem persists.
Following the instructions for troubleshooting, I created a "Fresh" User Account for my Mac. When I logged in using that account, Adium functions correctly.
Any ideas on how to fix Adium to work under my normal user account?
Thanks!

Re: Can't Add Contacts After Migration Assistant
Have you tried removing your ~/Library/Application Support/Adium/ folder temporarily to see if that removes the problem?
